LONDON IRISH will begin their Aviva Premiership campaign against rivals Harlequins at Twickenham.

It was announced last month that the Exiles would be taking part in the season opening London Double Header at the national stadium, but the opponents have now been confirmed as Quins.

The game will kick-off at 4:30pm on Saturday, September 2, directly after Saracens face Northampton Saints.

Nick Kennedy’s charges will then travel to face champions Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park while the first game at Madejski Stadium will be against Northampton on September 24.

The 2017/18 regular season will end away to Bath on Saturday, May 5.

European fixtures against Edinburgh, Krasny Yar and Stade Francais Paris are yet to be scheduled.
