READING Festival 2016 kicked off on Friday with some hot acts and even hotter weather.

Blue skies throughout the day meant fans could enjoy all of their favourite artists, including Foals and Disclosure, Chvrches, Twenty One Pilots, Asking Alexandria, Thrice and Maxïmo Park.

Band of the moment Blossoms played a secret set on the BBC Introducing Stage, paying tribute to Viola Beach, who were tragically killed in a car accident in Sweden earlier this year.

The weather for Saturday is a mixed bag, with sunshine and thundery downpours expected throughout the afternoon.

Can you spot yourself in our gallery from Day One?
